Women's Soccer Wins Conference Championship

The Lady Red Devils faced off against the Pratt Beavers in a match to decide the  KJCCC conference champion. The Lady Red Devils came in hoping to claim their second conference championship in a row. Allen started the game off with high energy and dominated the possession of the game, while also disrupting any opportunity the Pratt Beavers tried to create. During the first minutes of the game Claudia Zahui touched one passed the keeper to give the Lady Red Devils a 1-0 to start the game.

Allen continued to create opportunities during the first half. Sophomore Yasmin Evans stepped up and placed the ball in the bottom corner of the net to put the Lady Red Devils up 2-0 off a set piece. To start of the second half the Lady Red Devils continued to control the pace of the game with possession moving the ball and creating chances. Claudia Zahui followed up a missed shot and scored her second goal of the match, giving the Lady Red Devils a 3-0 lead.

The game ended with the Lady Red Devils on top 3-0, and a second straight KJCCC conference championship. Allen is now 11-3-1 overall with two games left against Southeast Community College.
