The Lady Red Devils faced off against the Hesston Larks on September 25th, and entered the game facing a bit of adversity with some players out. From the start the Lady Red Devils dominated the game in possession while the Larks of Hesston sat back in their own half. In the first half Stefany Ortuno hit a shot from 20 yards out to put the lady Red Devils up 1-0, but before the end of the first half the Lady Red Devils had a lack of focus and the Larks got a goal through a set piece outside the 18 yard box.

In the second half Allen continuted to dominate the run of play with almost all of the possession. The Lady Red Devils had a few shots early but could not find the back of the net, until Claudia Zahui hit from inside the 18 yard box from cross from Danielle Jeffcoat to put Allen up 2-1. Minutes later Danielle Jeffcoat hit a shot by the keeper to give the Lady Red Devils a 3-1 lead.

The game finished 3-1 in favor of Allen. Catherine Harold, Alejandra Ortega, and Sophie Moss all stepped up big for Allen in the Conference win . The Lady Red Devils will face off against the Southeast Storm on October 2nd. The Lady Red Devils are 2-1-1 in Conference play and 7-3-1 overall.
