Allen Men's Soccer team took on Southeast Community College Storm on Saturday, October 23^rd at home.  The Devils controlled the entire game from the opening whistle until the final whistle.  Allen started the scoring in the 21^st minute when Ben Mnqathu played a ball to Cillian Gilligan who placed it in the goal, to put the Devils up 1-0.  The Devils controlled the possession and had several more chances to score and in the 39^th minute Joe Gartner slotted a ball home off an assist from Tiago Fernandes.  The rest of the half was much of the same, with the Devils controlling the action but couldn't finish any other chances.  Allen took a 2-0 lead into the half. 

The second half started with Allen giving up a goal in the 1^st minute to make the score 2-1.  The Devils settled down after the goal and kept possession of the ball.  In the 66^th minute Gilligan scored his second off an assist from Mathew Akidaug to make the score 3-1.  Gilligan scored his third for a hat trick in the 73^rd minute assisted by Akidaug to take the score to 4-1.  In the 81^st minute Boikaego Mbaakanyi finished a ball far post assisted by Fernandes to make it 5-1.  Akidaug finished off the scoring in the 84^th minute when he beat the back line and put the ball into the back of the net.  The final score was 6-1, Samuel Montanez and James Hobson played in goal and recorded 4 and 1 save respectively. 

The Allen men will travel to Columbus, Nebraska to play Central Community College in the playoffs at 2pm on Thursday.
