Coach Wyatt Moore begins his 4th season of coaching college baseball, his second with the Red Devils.

Moore will serve as the Director of Strength and Conditioning, Hitting Coach, & Recruiting Coordinator for the Red Devils this season.

Last season was Coach Moore’s first season here at Allen Community College. Moore assisted in overseeing a program that produced one First Team All-Region/All-Conference selection, one Honorable-Mention All-Conference selection, and 13 NJCAA Academic All-Americans.

In the summer of 2021, Moore was hired as a hitting coach, outfielders coach, catching coach, and 1st base coach for the New Market Rebels in the historic Valley Baseball League. For the summer, Moore helped oversee an offense that had the Rebels ranked as the #1 offense in the league through the halfway point of the summer, but they ended up finishing as a team ranked 3rd in Hits, 4th in 2B’s, 2nd in 3B’s. 3rd in Team Batting Average, and they finished 2nd in the league with 115 SB’s out of 137 attempts.

In 2019, Moore was hired as the assistant baseball coach at Arizona Western College, an NJCAA Division 1 program in Yuma, Arizona. While at Arizona Western College, Moore was the assistant hitting coach, outfielders’ coach, 1st base coach, as well as the Director of Strength and Conditioning for the baseball team. Prior to Covid-19 ending the season, the Arizona Western Baseball team was 17-7 and had multiple wins over nationally ranked programs. While at Arizona Western, he assisted in developing 5 1st Team All-Region/All-ACCAC players, and 1 2nd Team All-Region/All-ACCAC Player.

Moore has assisted in the development of over 15 players that have signed professional contracts in his 4 years as a college coach, including 6 taken in the Top 10 rounds of the MLB Amateur Draft.

Prior to Allen Community College, Moore spent some time at Pasco-Hernando State in New Port Richey, Florida, and spent three years as an assistant coach at the high school level in Kansas.

As a player, Moore played two years of college baseball at Sterling College before transferring to Wichita State University where he obtained both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees.
