Haggerty Tabbed As Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

De'Quaan Haggerty will enter his first season as assistant men’s basketball coach at Allen Community College in the 2022-23 season. In 2021-22 Haggerty was a graduate assistant coach at Midwestern State University where he  assisted in player development, individual workouts, scouting reports, coordinated film and assisted with practices. Haggerty helped the Mustangs to a 16-15 record and a 10-6 conference record earning a spot in the Lone Star Conference postseason tournament in the 2021-22 season. 

The Topeka, Kansas native played two seasons for the Mustangs of Midwestern State University as a reserve guard under Nelson Haggerty. Haggerty received his bachelor's degree of Applied Arts and sciences in 2019. Prior to his campaign for the Mustangs he competed for the Red Devils of Allen Community College under head coach Andy Shaw. Haggerty received his Associates degree in communications from Allen Community College in 2016.

Haggerty is a 2013 graduate of Topeka Highschool in Topeka, Kansas.
