Allen Volleyball traveled to Hesston College last night to take on the Larks for a Region 6 match. Allen would win the match 3-1 with scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-14, 25-18. Hesston set the pace for the first two sets and forced Allen to increase their level of play. The Devils would change the match the last two sets and dominate the intensity giving the Larks all they could handle.
The offense was led by Samantha Alexander with 12 kills. Adriana Santiago added 9, Aricah McCall and Brittney Eskridge had 6 apiece and Laia Jaca and PJ Curry put down 5 each. Laia Jaca ran the offense with 39 assists and Celymar Cabranes covered the backrow with 18 digs. Next week is bye week for the Devils, as they will face 2 JV teams at home, then resuming conference matches on October 9th against Neosho at home.
