Nicole Peters enters her second season as the Head Softball Coach at Allen Community College. Peters served as the assistant softball coach at Allen for 4 seasons before taking the reins as head coach.

In the 2017-18 season the Red Devils finished with an overall record of 21-26 and a conference record of 14-12 to finish 5th in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. The Red Devils had three sophomores earn post season honors, Winter Henry was named NJCAA 3rd Team All-American, KJCCC MVP, First Team All-Conference, and Frist Team All-Region in District E. Sierra Thompson earned 2ndTeam All-Conference and 2nd Team All-Region in District E. Julia Keating rounded out the awards by earning Honorable Mention All-Conference. From the 2017-18 team, 3 sophomores earned scholarships to continue their softball career at 4-year universities.

Prior to Allen, Peters was the Assistant Coach at Kilgore College in Kilgore, TX, during their inaugural season helping the team to a record of 23-31. Before her stint at Kilgore, Peters was the Assistant Pitching Coach at Texarkana College in Texarkana, AR for a season. While at TC Peters assisted the team to a Region XIV East Conference title and was a member of the Region XIV Coaching Staff of the Year. Peters also spent a year as a volunteer assistant coach for Taylor High School, serving as their pitching coach. In 2011 the Taylor Tigers won their Conference and Regional Championships and finished as the 1A State Runner-up.

Peters’ collegiate career took off at Mississippi Delta Community College where she received All-Conference pitching honors. She finished her playing career at Southern Arkansas University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education-Wellness and Leisure. Peters is a graduate of Fouke High School in Fouke, Arkansas.
