Sierra Thompson didn't allow a single run as The Lady Red Devils defeated Fort Scott Community College 3-0 on Friday. Thompson allowed just six hits and induced a fly out from Kylie Pfeiffer to end the game.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Sierra Thompson struck out zero, while Aubrey Smith sat down one.

The Lady Red Devils captured the lead in the first inning. Marissa Lilly singled on a 2-1 count in the first inning, scoring one run.

A single by Kylie Pfeiffer in the first inning was a positive for Fort Scott Community College.

Thompson earned the win for The Lady Red Devils. She went seven innings, giving up zero runs, six hits, and walking zero. Smith took the loss for Fort Scott Community College. She tossed six innings, allowing three runs, six hits, striking out one, and walking one.

Lilly and Caitlin Burns each drove in one run to lead The Lady Red Devils.

Taylor Brecheisen went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Fort Scott Community College in hits.
