Johnson CCC defeats The Lady Red Devils despite Baileigh Rager's strong effort, 4-0

Baileigh Rager held up her end of the bargain, but Rager couldn't guide The Lady Red Devils past Johnson CCC as The Lady Red Devils lost 4-0 in seven innings in Overland Park, KS on Thursday.

Rager was solid on the rubber for The Lady Red Devils. She allowed no earned runs over 4 2/3 innings. Rager gave up five hits while walking one and striking out two.

Kelsee Henry got the win for Johnson CCC. She tossed seven innings of shutout ball. She struck out 15, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Raegan Beckley ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.

Johnson CCC never trailed after scoring four runs in the second on an error and a three-run single by Shelby Mansfield.
