The Lady Red Devils beat Ottawa JV 7-2 in seven innings on Friday at Ottawa, KS behind Ashley Womack, who had four RBIs.
She homered in the fifth inning and singled in the first and seventh innings.Raegan Beckley held Ottawa JV scoreless for six innings. Beckley struck out five and allowed one walk and five hits.
Shelby Harvey took the loss for Ottawa JV. She allowed seven runs in seven innings, walked none and struck out two.
The Lady Red Devils never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring one run on an RBI single by Womack.
The Lady Red Devils tacked on another two runs in the seventh. A single by Morgan Wayman ignited the offense,, bringing home Womack. That was followed up by Madison McGinness's single, plating Baileigh Rager.
