Southeast CC defeats The Lady Red Devils despite Baileigh Rager's strong effort, 4-0

Baileigh Rager did her best to change the outcome, but Rager couldn't will The Lady Red Devils past Southeast CC as The Lady Red Devils lost 4-0 in seven innings in Iola, KS on Sunday.

Rager was a workhorse on the rubber for The Lady Red Devils. Rager allowed no earned runs, six hits and no walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Megan Hartman recorded the win for Southeast CC. She tossed seven innings of shutout ball. Hartman struck out 12, walked one and gave up three hits.

Rager was the game's losing pitcher.

Southeast CC never trailed after scoring two runs in the third on an error and a groundout by Alexis Graewe.

Southeast CC matched its one-run fourth inning with one more in the seventh. In the fourth, Southeast CC scored on a passed ball, bringing home Shannon Smith.
