Three Red Devils have Big Performances

PITTSBURG, KS – This weekend the Red Devils competed at the Wendy's/ Pittsburg State Invitational. The Red Devils gained momentum by setting personal bests and adding national qualifying marks from its runners. With the indoor season in full swing the Red Devils are headed in the right direction with the championship season just a few short weeks away.

"I would say that overall everybody did well this weekend. Armando Colome. Rashion Walker, and Jeremiah Revere were our top performers. All three of these men qualified in nationals and had great performances in their events" said Head Coach Davis. Armando secured 8th place in the Men's 60m dash and ran a time of 6.87s. Colome also competed in the 200m and finished in a time of 22.20.

Rashion Walker made his 400m debut in a time of 48.47 and placed 10th among the field. Lastly, Jeremiah competed in the 600m and finished in a time of 1:21.47 which puts in top 10 in our all-time 600m times. He placed fourth overall in a field of 28 competitors.

In the Men's 400m, Kyrease Desseau (50.15) and Damilola Summers (50.95) competed placing 36th and 48th overall.

Michael Peraza competed in the 3000m and finished in a time of 9:29.79

This weekend the Red Devils head back Northwest Missouri and the MSSU Lion Invite
