Tuscaloosa, AL- Allen Community College Men Track and Field team headed to Alabama Relays to open up the 2014-2015 Outdoor season. The meet was hosted by University of Alabama. The track meet had all levels from Division 1, Division 2, NAIA, and Junior Colleges competing. The Red Devils started the night off with Pedro Montoya breaking the school record in 5k that was set back in 1991. On the sprint side Markeen Caine competed in the 800 Meter Run. Caine place 16th with the time of 1:56. Hunter Koike and Michael Daprano both competed in the 400 Meter Hurdles. Koike place 18th with the time of 55.76 and Daprano place 40th with the time of 59.94. The team will be heading to Friends University in Wichita, Kansas next weekend for the 2nd track meet of the year.
