The Allen Men's Soccer team won their regular season opener 3-0 on Sunday against Southwestern College JV.  The Red Devils dominated the possession for the entire game, creating numerous goal scoring opportunities.  In the 17^th minute Joe Gartner broke the tie with a follow up shot off a corner that beat the keeper to put the Devil's up 1-0.  Allen would have several more great chances in the first half, but came up short and could not put the ball in the net.  The score at halftime was 1-0 with the Devils on top.  The second half was much of the same with the Devil's controlling the possession and attacking chances.  In the 61^st minute Jordan Mase blasted a shot from outside the box to put the Red Devils up 2-0.  The third and final goal came in the 85^th minute off a brilliant corner kick from Martin Rodriguez that Payge Sinclair headed home, to finish off a 3-0 victory.  Ajay Murray played in goal and recorded 3 saves in the shutout win.  The Devils are 1-0 on the season and will travel to Oklahoma Wesleyan on April 5^th to play their JV.
