Allen men's soccer beat Ottawa JV yesterday 2-1 on a hot afternoon. The Red Devils dominated the first half and had several chances to get on the board, but couldn't finish the ball. The score at the half was 0-0, Allen outshot the Braves 10-0 in the half. The Red Devils came out sluggish in the second half and gave up a goal in the 55th minute off a mistake in the back.
After the goal Allen regrouped and scored two goals off set pieces in the next 12 minutes, both goals were scored by Jeffrey Soto-Molina. The Red Devils had several more chances to make the game out of reach and hit the post a couple times. In the end the Devils had 20 shots for the game and 10 on goal, Zakk Wilce played in goal for Allen and had 1 save. The Red Devils are 2-1-2 on the season and play at home on 9/5 against Cowley for the conference opener.
