Chris Beall took over as the Allen County Community College assistant baseball coach in the summer of 2017. Beall comes to the Red Devils after 11 years at Marshalltown Community College (IA). A veteran coach of the NJCAA, Beall will serve as the top assistant at Allen where he will help develop hitters in the competitive Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. Beall will aid head coach Clint Stoy in the recruiting process as well for the Red Devils. Prior to his hiring at Allen, Beall helped guide Marshalltown for 11 years as the lead assistant coach. During his tenure, the Tigers reached unprecedented success, including a record-breaking season in 2016 that saw MCC reach a school-record 34 wins and advanced to the NJCAA Region XI Championship game, the team’s fourth appearance since 2011. During his tenure at MCC, Beall helped more than 90 players move on to the four-year level and coached 77 NJCAA All-Region XI players. Working primarily with the hitters during his time at MCC, Beall coached Luis Duran to a spot on the NJCAA Northern District team in 2017 after batting .413 with 10 home runs and a school record 76 hits on the year. Along with his duties as assistant coach at Marshalltown, Beall also served as the Fitness Center Director, the Assistant Housing Director, and the Athletic Field Maintenance Supervisor.

A native of Marshalltown, IA, Beall received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education from Simpson College where he was a member of the Storm baseball team. Beall received a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from the American Public University with a concentration in Sports Administration.
