Caleb Easterling Drives In Six As Allen Community College Red Devils Defeats Southwestern Community College

Caleb Easterling wasted no opportunities at the plate on Saturday, driving in six on three hits to lead Allen past SWICC 13-8 on Saturday. Easterling drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the third, a wild pitch in the fourth, and a home run in the sixth. There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Allen collected 14 hits and SWICC had seven. SWICC took an early lead in the second inning.

After SWICC scored three runs in the top of the sixth, Allen  answered with three of their own. SWICC scored when Lozade singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Carlos drew a walk, scoring one run, and Courtney drew a walk, scoring one run. Allen then answered when Easterling homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs. Allen  took the lead for good with five runs in the third inning. The game was tied at seven with SWICC batting in the top of the sixth when Goncelves hit a solo homer. Allen lost despite out-hitting SWICC 11 to nine. Allen opened up scoring in the first inning when Dawson Winter singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
