Stedman Allen enthusiastically enters his first season as Assistant Coach for the Red Devils Men’s Basketball Team. Last year Coach Allen was the Assistant Basketball Coach at Pensacola State College while he completed his Master’s degree in Sports Management. He was named in the Top Junior College Assistant Coaches in the Southeast in March of this year.

During the 2016-17 season, Allen played professionally in Zamora, Spain in the Silver League. Besides playing professionally, Allen was an assistant coach for Riverdale County High School Boy’s JV Basketball team. Allen played collegiately at Wagner College in 2014-15 and at Angelo State University in 2015-16 where he received his degree in Business Administration. Besides excelling on the court as a starter all four years, Allen made the dean’s list during his undergraduate degree program. He was Athlete of the Year while at Labette Community College. In 2011, Allen was a McDonald’s All-American Nominee.

In his private life, Allen is the Founder and CEO of Young, Humble, Beast, LTD. Allen formed the nonprofit to help student-athletes in the inner-city excel in basketball, through high level training camps, mentoring services, and character development. Allen also worked as a Fastbreak/BSNY Skill Development Trainer. Here he helped build the skills of young players from the ages of 6-18 with one-on-one and group training.
 
Allen comes to Allen Community College from the Bronx, New York.
