On Thursday March 26th, the NJCAA All-Region VI basketball teams were announced and Sophomore Forward Malik Hardmon earned First Team All-Region Honors. There were only 4 other players in Region VI that claimed First Team All-Region, making this a tremendous honor for Hardmon. The Chicago, Illinois native spent the last two seasons at Allen and helped guide Allen to winning seasons both years. This season Hardmon finished 2nd in the KJCCC in scoring for the season as he averaged 19.2 points per game, and also finished 4th in the KJCCC in rebounding at 8.1 per game.

A few weeks ago Hardmon also earned First Team All-Conference in the KJCCC. He wasn't the only Red Devil to earn All-Conference honors as Sophomore Joel Boyce earned Second Team All-Conference honors as well. Hardmon and Boyce finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in scoring this season in the KJCCC making them a dynamic duo.
