Dec 3, 2025

Following play across the week of Thanksgiving to close out the month of November, little changed occurred across both the NJCAA Division and Division 2 Women’s Basketball Top 25 polls as all seven ranked Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference teams from the week prior maintained their spots in the week four rankings.

Of the seven ranked teams from the KJCCC, four of the seven hold the same ranking as last week, which includes both Dodge City (Division 1) and Johnson County (Division 2) holding the number one ranking in their respective polls after remaining unbeaten with wins last week.

Playing just one game last week, Dodge City turned in an efficient 97-71 road victory over Cloud County to improve to 8-0 while remaining atop the NJCAA Division 1 rankings with all 11 first-place votes. Butler also holds their same ranking as last week at number 11 after the Grizzlies picked up wins over Pratt and Fort Hays Tech Northwest to move to 9-0 overall and 4-0 in the KJCCC this season. Hutchinson also turned in an unbeaten week last week, defeating Independence and Seward County to move up one spot to number 19 in the latest rankings while Coffeyville won games at Seward County and at home over Barton by double-digits to remain in the final spot of the top 25 with the number 25 ranking.

Two wins for Johnson County at the Moberly Area Thanksgiving Classic saw the Cavaliers improve to 11-0 this season following an 85-57 win over Wabash Valley and 107-35 win over Sauk Valley as the Cavaliers continue to hold the number one ranking in the latest rankings. Allen Community College fell four spots from number nine down to number 13 after suffering their first setbacks of the season with a three-point loss to Iowa Western and two-point loss to NJCAA D1 Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in neutral-site contests. Also ranked in the latest NJCAA Division 2 rankings from the KJCCC is Kansas City Kansas Community College as the Blue Devils played just one game last week, defeating Lewis & Clark Community College 72-62 on the road to improve to 7-4 overall and move up one spot to number 24 in the latest rankings.

26 more games across the conference landscape are on the docket this week, beginning Tuesday with both Johnson County and Neosho County in action with non-conference games ahead of an eight-game Wednesday that will feature six games between conference teams in D1 action. Three of the four ranked Division 1 teams will face road battles on Wednesday night before seeing Saturday feature a ranked matchup between top-ranked Dodge City and number 25 Coffeyville taking place inside Nellis Hall in Coffeyville.
