Whitney a native of Altamont, KS graduate of Labette County High School, joined the Red Devil program for the second time in her career. Shaw was a member of the Red Devil Program during the 2006-2007 seasons. She was the starting DS/Libero for the Devils and graduated from Allen in 2008 with her Associates Degree in Science.  After Allen Whitney went on to play at Ottawa University for the 2008-2009 seasons again as a defensive specialist. 

Prior to becoming the Head Coach at Allen, Whitney served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach for the last 5 years under long time head coach Jessica Peters.  Whitney is excited about this new opportunity to take over the program, and hopes to continue as a solid KJCCC contender.

Whitney is the daughter of Kim and Jeff Falkenstien of Altamont, KS.  She is married to Head Men’s Basketball Coach Andy Shaw, and they have a daughter (Tatum)
