This past weekend the Volleyball team traveled to Parsons, Kansas to compete in a "Tri" against Southeast Nebraska and Labette CC. For the first match the Lady Red Devils would face Southeast CC and started out strong from the beginning as they won the first two sets. Although the ladies struggled to finish the third set they would take the win in four sets (25-15,25-19,16-25,25-13).
The ladies then continued to battle the hot gym for their second match of the day against Labette. Allen would have another strong showing against the Cardinals and swept Labette in three sets (25-18,25-17,25-8). Brittney Eskridge and Adriana Santiago would lead the weekend with a combined total of 35 kills. The next match will be Wednesday as the Lady Red Devils travel to Hesston, Kansas to face Hesston College in a conference match.
