Over the weekend the Lady Devils traveled to the Fort Scott tournament to compete in four matches. The ladies faced three conference opponents; Labette, Neosho, and Fort Scott, as well as, Seminole State. The ladies showed great promise from the get go and would take the first set from Neosho. They would later fall in four sets, but showed continuous determination. The ladies were able to pull out a sweep in three sets against Labette, and Seminole State. Finally, the ladies would take a loss to Fort Scott, and finish the weekend with a record of 2-2. For the next match, the ladies will travel to Ottawa to play Ottawa JV on Tuesday August 27th at 7:00pm.
