Allen opened its conference season hosting Coffeyville tonight. Even though the Devils were confident going into the match, Coffeyville found quick stride in set one taking Allen out of system with their aggressive serving. The Devils struggled to gain momentum or run their offense to their full potential. Coffeyville took the first set 7-25. Allen returned to force a tougher set in number 2, coming out stronger and a little less timid. Allen played with the Ravens most of the set but came up short 17-25. Set 3 looked similar to set one, with a slow start and lack of offense. Allen lost the match 11-25.
