The Red Devils traveled to Highland this weekend and participated in their first tournament. Allen started off strong, sweeping Wentworth Military Academy (26-24,25-18,25-16).  The girls took on Labette next, fighting through 5 sets but fell short (25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 13-15). Saturday, the girls had a rocky start against Iowa Central, losing in 3 (15-25, 18-25, 21-25). The girls found the momentum again and ended the tournament on a good note, beating Ellsworth (25-12, 23-25, 25-19, 25-22).

Andi  Dowell led the team in kills all weekend, totaling 47, and Sydney Gish was a close second with 40 kills.  Joely Roe led the Devils with 73 digs and Andi Dowell had 68.  Sarah Baker let the team with six total solo blocks.
