Allen Women Dominate Tabor Reserves

The Red Devils got back to winning ways last night with a 5-1 non-conference away win over Tabor JV. The Red Devils dominated the majority of the first half of the game and had a few chances, but were unable to find the back of the net. However, in the second 45 minutes the Red Devils came out firing and found the back of the net 5 times to put the game away.

Freshman Hailey Gonzalez got the scoring started just 9 minutes into the second half off of an assist from Sophomore Brynn Suddeth. Two minutes later, Suddeth found herself on the scoresheet with the assist coming from fellow Sophomore Leigh-Anne Bartlett. Those two then reversed roles 20 minutes later when Bartlett scored off an assist from Suddeth. Just 30 seconds later, Suddeth was taken out in the box, earning the Red Devils a penalty kick, and Suddeth stepped up herself and buried it into the back of the net for her second of the game. Then with 7 minutes remaining in the game, Suddeth finished off the scoring for the night and earned herself a hat-trick with the assist coming from Freshman Kelli Bush. Freshman Morgan Cossairt played the full 90 minutes in goal again, making 4 saves.

The Red Devils are now 4-5 on the season, and are in action next at Johnson on Saturday at 2:00 pm for an important conference matchup.
