The Allen women's soccer team defeated St. Louis Community College - Meramec 2-1 in overtime in a hard fought game yesterday afternoon. Freshman Hailey Gonzalez picked up her second goal of the season on an assist from Sophomore Leigh-Anne Bartlett to tie the game late on and force overtime. With less than 5 minutes remaining in the first overtime Leigh-Anne Bartlett scored the game winner off an assist from Freshman Hailey Jones. Morgan Cossairt played the full game in goal and made a huge save on a penalty kick to keep the Red Devils in the game.
