The Allen Lady Red Devils traveled to Hesston, Kansas where they were able to pull out a great road win over Hesston College. 

The Lady Red Devils started the game on a slow foot but Hallie Reed scored the first points of the game for the Lady Red Devils, helping to get them going offensively. They would leave the first quarter with a 4-point deficit, 15 -11. In the second quarter the Lady Red Devils outscored Hesston by 4 and had some good defensive stops, holding Hesston to only 10 points in the second quarter. The game was tied 25-25 going into halftime. 

In the second half, Naomi Smith stepped up for the Lady Red Devils making 12 of her 16 points in the third and fourth quarter. Clara Romero pulled down 12 rebounds, helping the Lady Red Devils to control the boards. She ended the game with a double-double, 12 rebounds and 14 points. Chloe Burns hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer late in the third, to send the Lady Red Devils into the fourth quarter with a 7-point lead. They were able to put the game away in the fourth, ending the game 59-46. 

The Lady Red Devils had 3 players finish the game with double figures. Freshman Naomi Smith led all scoring with 16 points, Freshman Clara Romero with 14 points, and Sophomore Hallie Reed with 14 points. 

The Lady Red Devils will be on the road again Wednesday headed to Highland, Kansas to take on Highland Community College. Tip off time for the game will be at 5:30pm.
