Ladies End Season vs Butler

The Lady Devils traveled to El Dorado for their first round playoff game this evening to take on the #4 seed of Butler. The ladies would seem to start the game with energy and poise as they would be down 5-6 for almost 2 minutes but would then go nearly 8 minutes without scoring. Butler would go on a tear and leave the Devils behind as they would not score the remainder of the quarter.... 5-22. The defensive pressure of Butler would completely rattle the offense for the ladies and they would never come back from it. They would have low scores the remainder of the game as the quarters would go 5, 14, 11 and 8 points for the ladies. Butler in the other hand, would continue to attack and shoot 40% from the field for the game. The ladies would seem to have no fight back or energy in the second half and would lose by a final 38-79.

The ladies were led by Jakira Wilson with 12 and Tamera Shaver with 7. The ladies did not end the season the way they wanted but still would like to thank everyone for their support. See you next season!
