The Lady Devils faced Butler tonight for another conference game

The Lady Devils faced Butler tonight for another conference game. The ladies got off to a slow start offensively as they were not be able to get many shots off against Butlers aggressive man defense. They would struggle until Haley Wilson got hot from downtown off several screens. Wilson would end up hitting 4 3s in the first half. However, she did not have anyone to help her.

The ladies continued to struggle through the second quarter as turnovers began to plague the offense. The front court pressure of Butler would rattle the ladies into any kind of offensive flow. This led the ladies to a halftime deficit 23-35.

The second half would be much of the same story. Haley Wilson continued to lead the offense while Ariyah Sorrells also got aggressive in the post. No one else ever get going on the offensive end. The Lady Devils would not keep Butler off the offensive glass in the second half which led to second chance points. The ladies ended the game with 26 turnovers which resulted in a loss and a final score of 45-75.

The ladies were led by Haley Wilson who had 22 points. Ariyah Sorrells added 10 points.

The ladies have their final home game and regular season game (sophomore night) next Monday night against rival Neosho!
