Crowder upsets Allen 98-52

The Lady Red Devils traveled to Crowder and had a setback that started early in the game and continued through the fourth quarter. Crowder caught fire early from beyond the arc and ended up making 12 for the game. This hot shooting combined with their full court pressure would completely disrupt any kind of offense the ladies tried to run.

Crowder took a first quarter lead 32-11 and never looked back with the final score being 98-52. The Lady Devils could not combat the run and jump press by Crowder. The rough riders were led by a forward standout, Cooper, who led with 18 points and 4 others who added double digits to lead the balanced attack against Allen.

For the Lady Devils, the offensive end was very slow and sluggish. Mckena Arlt led the way with 18 points. Haley Wilson was the next closest with 7.  The lack of execution and turnovers would crush any chance to make a comeback throughout the game.

The ladies are now 2-1 overall and will travel this Saturday to fight back from this deficit and play NOC in Tonkawa, Oklahoma.
