Stormie Bush enters her sixth season at Allen Community College as the assistant coach. Bush’s coaching career started as an assistant with the Ruffnecks USSSA 18U Fastpitch Softball team in 2014. Her coaching career continued at Tabor College in 2016. During the 2016-17 season, she became a volunteer assistant coach for the team, taking over the strength and conditioning program and assisting with the outfield. With Tabor, she helped coach them to a conference tournament runner-up finish and the best record in the program’s history. Bush also serves as a team leader infantryman, at the rank of sergeant, in the Kansas Army National Guard with C Co., 1st BN 635th Armored Regiment (AR) out of Wichita, KS. She is the first female infantry NCO in the Kansas Army National Guard.

Bush’s college playing career started as a Red Devil at Allen Community College, where she received All-Region outfield honors. She finished her career playing at Tabor College where she received All-Conference again for her outfield abilities. At Tabor, Bush earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning. Bush is originally from Melvern, Kansas and a graduate of Marais des Cygnes Valley High School, Class of 2012.
