Red Devils Fall To Fort Scott CC After Sixth Inning Score

Red Devils stayed in it until the end, but Fort Scott CC pulled away late in an 11-8 victory on Friday March 25th in game one. The game was tied at eight with Fort Scott CC batting in the top of the sixth when a single scored a run to open Fort Scott's offense.

Despite the loss, the Red Devils did collect 11 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Fort Scott CC had 11 hits on the way to victory.

Fort Scott CC scored seven runs in the second inning.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Red Devils tied things up at eight when Kinsey Stuewe singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

The Red Devils tallied four runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught by the Red Devils was led by Haley Gedrose, Mikayla Long, and Stuewe, all driving in runs in the frame.

Madelynn Collins took the loss for the Red Devils. Collins lasted three innings, allowing four hits and seven runs while striking out three.

The Red Devils racked up 11 hits in game one. Long, Lacey Stamper, and Bella Gravatt all managed multiple hits for the Red Devils. Long went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Allen in hits. The Red Devils tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Aubrey Willis led the way with two.

Red Devils Take Game Two Over Fort Scott CC In A Blow-Out Victory, 7-1

Despite Fort Scott CC scoring first in the second inning off a solo homerun, the Red Devils pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third, Lacey Stamper doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Robin Todd singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

The Red Devils scored three runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by a walk by Mikayla Long, a single by Skyler Jackson, and a fielder's choice by Haley Gedrose.

Jackson earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for the Red Devils. Jackson allowed six hits and one run over seven innings, striking out six and walking zero.

Aubrey Willis went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Red Devils in hits. Allen was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Kinsey Stuewe had the most chances in the field with eight.
