GAME ONE - Red Devils Grab Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Ottawa JV

Red Devils snatched the lead late in the game in a 5-2 victory over Ottawa JV on Wednesday, February 9th in game one. The game was tied at two with the Red Devils up to bat in the top of the seventh when Hailee Lundine tripled on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs.

Madelynn Collins was credited with the victory for the Red Devils. The righty allowed three hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out seven.

Skylar Alley took the loss for Ottawa JV. The pitcher lasted one inning, allowing four hits and four runs while walking zero.

Casson Rasmussen started the game for Ottawa JV. Rasmussen allowed five hits and one run over six innings, striking out two and walking one

Aubrey Willis went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Red Devils in hits.

Ottawa JV was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Emily Kvasnicka had the most chances in the field with four.

 

GAME TWO - Four RBI Day For Hailee Lundine Seals The Deal In Red Devils' Victory Over Ottawa JV

Four runs batted in from Hailee Lundine helped lead the Red Devils past Ottawa JV 12-2 in game two. Lundine drove in runs on a double in the first and a double in the second.

Red Devils secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the second inning. They came from singles by Robin Todd, Chloe Rogers, and Aubrey Willis, a fielder's choice by Jaydee Pulliam, and a double by Lundine.

The Red Devils got things moving in the first inning, when Lundine doubled on a 3-1 count, scoring three runs.

Skyler Jackson pitched the Red Devils to victory. The right-hander allowed one hit and two runs over five innings, striking out four.

Meadow Stull took the loss for Ottawa JV. Stull lasted five innings, allowing 16 hits and 12 runs while striking out one.

Red Devils tallied 16 hits on the day. Lundine, Ellie Hacker, Todd, Willis, and Lacey Stamper all managed multiple hits for the Red Devils. Hacker and Lundine each collected three hits to lead the Red Devils. Red Devils were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hacker made the most plays with nine.

 

The Red Devils are back in action Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 as they travel to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami, OK for a double header at 1/3p.
