Lady Red Devils Make Huge Sweep Over Coffeyville Community College

In game one, the Red Devils stole the lead late in the game in a 13-5 victory over Coffeyville Community College on Tuesday, March 20th. The game was tied at five with Red Devils batting in the bottom of the fifth when Sam Greninger hit a solo homer.

The Red Devils tallied three home runs in game one. Greninger put one out in the third and fifth innings. Chelsey Henry went deep in the fifth inning. Red Devils tallied 14 hits in game one. Winter Henry, Sierra Thompson, Ashlie Shields, Greninger, and Henry all had multiple hits for Red Devils. Henry went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Red Devils in hits.

Abby Walker earned the win for the Red Devils. She lasted six innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out two.

In game two, the Red Devils got things started in the first inning when Darby Lewis singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. The Red Devils put up five runs in the third inning. Sierra Thompson earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for the Red Devils. She surrendered four runs on nine hits over five innings, striking out one.
