The Lady Red Devils defeated Ottawa University JV 12-0 on Thursday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Dela Boyd induced a fly out from Sydney Lehr to finish off the game.

An early lead helped propel The Lady Red Devils to victory. The Lady Red Devils scored on a double by Morgan Wayman and a triple by Marissa Lilly in the first inning.

The Lady Red Devils captured the lead in the first inning. Wayman drove in one when she doubled in the first inning.

A single by Jordyn Daniels in the second inning was a positive for Ottawa University JV.

Courtney Gard earned the win for The Lady Red Devils. She went three innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, striking out two, and walking one. Sammy Knoblauch took the loss for Ottawa University JV. She pitched three and two-thirds innings, surrendering 11 runs, 11 hits, and walking one.

The Lady Red Devils collected 14 hits. Lake, Broxterman, Wayman, Breanna Dinkel, and Winter Henry each collected multiple hits for The Lady Red Devils. Keating, Wayman, and Broxterman each drove in two runs to lead The Lady Red Devils. The Lady Red Devils was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Lake had the most chances in the field with four.

Daniels went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Ottawa University JV in hits.
