Boyd Throws Shutout as The Lady Red Devils Defeat Hesston College

Dela Boyd didn't allow a single run as The Lady Red Devils defeated Hesston College 2-0 on Saturday. Boyd allowed just one hit and induced a fly out from Kayleigh Johnson to end the game.

The Lady Red Devils didn't take the lead until later in the game. The Lady Red Devils scored one run when Morgan Wayman singled with two outs in the eighth inning.

One bright spot for Hesston College was a double by Jerrica Brown in the eighth inning.

Julia Keating and Wayman each drove in one run to lead The Lady Red Devils. The Lady Red Devils was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Sierra Thompson had the most chances in the field with seven.

Brown led Hesston College with one hit in two at bats.
