The Lady Red Devils lost the lead early and couldn't come back in a 10-1 loss to Midland College on Saturday. Midland College took the lead on a single in the first inning.

Midland College captured the lead in the first inning. Bianca Cerda singled on a 0-1 count count in the first inning, scoring one run.Midland College scored three runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Midland College came thanks to a fielder's choice by Kiana Jones and a triple by Melina Martinez.

Haleigh Leusch earned the win for Midland College. She went four innings, surrendering one run, five hits, striking out one, and walking one. Raegan Beckley took the loss for The Lady Red Devils. She pitched two innings, giving up six runs, six hits, striking out one, and walking one.

Winter Henry, Chelsea Lake, Alexis Ramos, Marissa Lilly, and Sierra Thompson all had one hit to lead The Lady Red Devils.

Midland College collected 12 hits. Cerda, Jones, Elizabeth Chastain, and Hannah Howard each collected multiple hits for Midland College.
