The Lady Red Devils Win Back-And-Forth Affair Against North Central Texas College

The Lady Red Devils and North Central Texas College traded the lead back-and-forth on Saturday, but eventually The Lady Red Devils prevailed 8-7. The Lady Red Devils took the lead for good in the eighth inning. The game was tied at seven with The Lady Red Devils batting in the top of the eighth when Emma Broxterman grounded out, scoring one run.

The Lady Red Devils collected 11 hits and North Central Texas College had 15 in the high-scoring affair

The Lady Red Devils took an early lead in the first inning. The Lady Red Devils scored two runs when Breanna Dinkel singled with two outs in the first inning.North Central Texas College evened things up at seven in the bottom of the seventh inning. An error scored one run for North Central Texas College.The Lady Red Devils scored four runs in the sixth inning. The Lady Red Devils's big inning was driven by a single by Sarah Eckart and a single by Emma Broxterman.

Sierra Thompson earned the win for The Lady Red Devils. She tossed eight innings, surrendering seven runs, 15 hits, and striking out one. Brooke Ford took the loss for North Central Texas College. She pitched two and two-thirds innings, surrendering zero runs, two hits, striking out two, and walking one.

Lauren Bierschenk started the game for North Central Texas College. She pitched five and a third innings, giving up seven runs, nine hits, and striking out three.

Broxterman, Marissa Lilly, and Dinkel each collected multiple hits for The Lady Red Devils. Broxterman led The Lady Red Devils with three runs batted in. She went 3-for-5 on the day.

Brittany Keath, Hayley Knabe, Rylee Hodges, and Adrienne Nairn each collected multiple hits for North Central Texas College.
