The Lady Red Devils defeated Murray State 3-0

Ashley Womack went 1-3 as The Lady Red Devils took home a 3-0 victory over Murray State in seven innings at Hummer Park on Saturday.

She tripled in the first inning.

The Lady Red Devils' Raegan Beckley kept Murray State off the scoreboard for all seven innings she was on the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out two.

Kira Head was charged with the loss. She lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.

The Lady Red Devils didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the first inning when it scored on an RBI triple by Womack.

The Lady Red Devils built upon its lead with two runs in the seventh. The inning looked promising, as Breanna Dinkel singled, bringing home Morgan Wayman to kick things off.
