The Lady Red Devils take out Labette with help from Breanna Dinkel, 4-1

Breanna Dinkel went 2-3 as The Lady Red Devils took home a 4-1 victory over Labette  in seven innings in Parsons, KS on Friday. She singled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Raegan Beckley worked out of three tough spots for The Lady Red Devils. She pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run on five hits. Beckley faced her toughest moment in the seventh inning.

Ellen Cupp couldn't get it done on the rubber for Labette College, taking a loss. She lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed four runs.

The top of the first saw The Lady Red Devils take an early lead, 1-0. The Lady Red Devils' rally started when Alana Renshaw singled. A groundout by Marissa Lilly then moved Renshaw from first to second.

The lone run of the game for Labette College crossed the plate in the first inning on a groundout by Samantha Gilstrap.

The Lady Red Devils didn't relinquish the lead after scoring three runs in the fifth inning when it scored on a groundout by Ali Morris and a single by Ashley Womack.
