The Lady Red Devils fall 8-1 to Johnson CCC despite Alana Renshaw's effort

Despite Alana Renshaw's 2-3 performance at the plate on Thursday, The Lady Red Devils took a 8-1 loss at the hands of Johnson CCC in Overland Park, KS.

Halle Still got it done in the circle on the way to a win. She allowed one run over seven innings. Still struck out two, walked three and gave up six hits.

Paige Dugger was charged with the loss. She lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Lady Red Devils' lone run of the ballgame came in the first inning on an RBI single by Ashley Womack.

Johnson CCC never trailed after scoring two runs in the second on a sacrifice fly by Shayna Weers and an RBI single by Abby Snow.

Johnson CCC added four more runs in the bottom of the fifth. A error scored Hailey Cope to get Johnson CCC on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Taylor Hicks's triple, scoring Heidi Prockish and Lily Channel.
