The Lady Red Devils falls behind in sixth inning in 7-6 loss to Oklahoma Wesleyan JV

Oklahoma Wesleyan JV took the lead in the sixth inning, and The Lady Red Devils was unable to muster a comeback, losing 7-6 in seven innings on Thursday at Iola, KS.

Mykenna Sharp-Hadl went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for The Lady Red Devils. She singled in the second and fourth innings.

Ashleigh Capps got the win for Oklahoma Wesleyan JV despite allowing six runs over seven innings. Capps struck out four, walked five and gave up 10 hits.

Oklahoma Wesleyan JV was sparked by Brooklynn Berido and Tiffany Isam, who teamed up for five hits and five RBIs.

Baileigh Rager was the game's losing pitcher. She lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

Oklahoma Wesleyan JV stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the sixth, scoring two runs on a two-run home run by Isam.
