The Lady Red Devils come out on top in a win over Southeast CC

The Lady Red Devils and Southeast CC volleyed the lead five times on Sunday, but The Lady Red Devils came out on top for a 5-3 win on Sunday at Iola, KS.

The Lady Red Devils finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. The Lady Red Devils went up for good on a solo home run by Baileigh Rager off Ellie Edmond.

The Lady Red Devils hit three home runs in the win. Additional home runs for The Lady Red Devils came when Ashley Womack homered in the fourth inning and Morgan Wayman homered in the fourth inning.

The Lady Red Devils staved off Southeast CC as Southeast CC was unable to match The Lady Red Devils down the stretch.

Southeast CC scored one run in the seventh on an error. Still, Southeast CC couldn't catch The Lady Red Devils.

Raegan Beckley recorded the win for The Lady Red Devils. She allowed two runs over four innings. Beckley struck out four, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Rager, Wayman and Womack helped lead The Lady Red Devils. They combined for four hits and four RBIs.

Edmond was charged with the loss. She lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.

The top of the first saw Southeast CC take an early lead, 1-0. Savanah Grabowski got things going for Southeast CC with a single.

Southeast CC brought home one run in the fourth inning, and matched that run total in the seventh. In the fourth, Southeast CC scored on an RBI single by Aryssa Borrenpohl, scoring Alyssa Bauer.

The lead was The Lady Red Devils' to lose after fourth inning. More runs came home on two solo blasts.
