Morgan Wayman leads The Lady Red Devils to a 26-2 win over Missouri Valley College JV

Tuesday was a great day for Morgan Wayman, as she clubbed two home runs to carry The Lady Red Devils to a 26-2 victory over Missouri Valley College JV at Iola, KS in five innings.

Seventeen runs in the first three innings helped The Lady Red Devils blow out Missouri Valley College JV. An RBI double by Marissa Lilly, an RBI double by Emmy McManigal, a three-run home run by Baileigh Rager, a solo home run by Wayman, an error, an RBI single by Alana Renshaw, a two-run single by McManigal, a two-run triple by Sarah Eckart, and a two-run home run by Wayman in the first inning and an RBI double by McManigal and an RBI single by Ashley Womack during the second inning helped The Lady Red Devils put some runs on the board early.

The Lady Red Devils hit four home runs in the win. Additional home runs for The Lady Red Devils came when Eckart homered in the third inning.

Raegan Beckley recorded the win for The Lady Red Devils. She tossed three innings of shutout ball. Beckley struck out five, walked none and gave up no hits.

The Lady Red Devils easily handled Missouri Valley College JV pitching as nine hitters combined for 17 hits, 18 RBIs and 19 runs scored.

Brianna Dean ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She allowed eight runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked none and struck out none.

The Lady Red Devils quickly matched Missouri Valley College JV's strong inning with a nine-run inning of its own in the fourth. The Lady Red Devils scored on an RBI single by Mallory Roush, a bases loaded walk, an error, a two-run double by Breanna Dinkel, a two-run error, and a two-run double by Alexis Campuzano.
