Ashley Womack's big day not enough, as the Devils lose 10-2 to Seminole State College

Lady Red Devils lost 10-2 to Seminole State College in Fort Worth, TX on Friday as McKayla Hendrix allowed two hits over five innings.

Hendrix, Morgan Palmer and Diana Gurzon helped lead Seminole State College. They combined for five hits and nine RBIs.

Seminole State College never surrendered the lead after the second inning, scoring 10 runs on a two-run double by Palmer, a home run by Gurzon, and a three-run triple by Hendrix.

One run in the top of the fourth helped Allen close its deficit to 9-1. A groundout by Mallory Roush set off the Red Devils rally. Seminole State College stopped the rally after Hendrix got Baileigh Rager to ground out.

The Lady Red Devils scored one run in the top of the fifth to cut its deficit to seven. A single by Marissa Lilly gave Lady Red Devils life. Finally, Hendrix got Alana Renshaw to ground out to end the game.
