Soccer Comes Up Short at KCK

The men's soccer team traveled to Kansas City Kansas Community College on Saturday to take on the Blue Devils. Both teams needed a result in the game to get back on track in the Jayhawk conference. The game was evenly matched and both teams had chances to score, but couldn't find the back of the net, until the 73^rd minute when the Blue Devils scored on a back post ball off a set piece to make the score 1-0. Allen had a couple chances late to even up the score but came up short. The Red Devils finished the game with 5 shots and 2 on goal, Zakk Wilce played in goal and made 4 saves.  Allen will be back in action on Thursday Sept. 26^th at 7pm at Cowley.
