Allen Men's Soccer lost to Coffeyville 2-0 on Wednesday, the game was real physical and hard fought. Allen had several chances in the first 20 mins to go up a goal but couldn't capitalize on any of the opportunities. The Ravens scored in the 15th minute to go up 1-0. At the start of the second half the Devils came out with high pressure and were creating chance after chance but again couldn't find the back of the net.
The game got really ugly and both teams started getting hot tempers. Coffeyville added a second goal in the 66th minute to make the score 2-0, after that Allen had several chances to get on the board and couldn't. Gabriel Alves played in goal and made 8 saves, the Devils created 17 shots and 7 on goal. Next game is Sept. 15th at Neosho at 7pm.
