Allen Loses to KCK

The Men's Soccer Team lost to KCK 5-2 on Saturday. The Red Devils started on fire the first five minutes of the game, with Wilmer Canales scoring the opening goal from a through ball by Daniel Guardado. After that goal the Devils just sat back and took their foot off the gas, allowing KCK to score with 10 minutes left in the first half. The second half didn't go well for the Red Devils either, with KCK scoring in the first five minutes of the second half.

KCK would go on to have two penalty kicks called for them, which they scored both of, to put Allen down 4-1. The Devils made some changes to their lineup, to try and get a spark from someone. Freshman Brevin Allen went in to score his first goal of the season, with the assist coming from Austin George. Alan Ibarra recorded 9 saves for the Red Devils.

The Allen Men's Soccer team's overall record is 1-5, and 0-2 in the Jayhawk conference. Next match is at Coffeyville Wednesday night.
