The Allen Men's Basketball team finished off the Fall semester with a pair of win at the Neosho Classic. On Friday the Red Devils defeated Bethany College JV 94-62. The Red Devils had 4 players reach double digits in scoring for the game. Donavan Seamster led the way in scoring for the third straight contest with 20 points. Seamster connected on 8 of 10 from the floor, and 4 of 6 from the three point line. Ahmed Mahgoub scored 17 points on 6 of 10 from the floor. Mahgoub also had 5 assists and 3 steals. Chris Dixon scored 16 points, and Brycen Dean scored 10 points in his return game from injury.
On Saturday the Red Devils defeated Oklahoma Wesleyan 95-59. It was a balanced attack and 4 players reached double figures. Chris Dixon led all scorers with 22 points on 8 of 13 from the floor, and 4 of 6 from the 3 point line. Brayden Thompson scored 16 points and had a pair nice finishes above the rim. Donavan Seamster scored 14 points and connected on 4 of 8 from beyond the arc. Freshman forward Eimon Galloway scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
Allen finishes their non-conference slate at 11-5 on the season and are on a 5 game win streak. The Red Devils are currently receiving votes to be ranked in the NJCAA polls.
Allen will return to action after the New Year with a January 14th matchup against Labette.
